Gingko Black Linen Tablerunner

$89.00

Hand screen printed in our Cairns studio

Every design begins with time spent in nature and being in awe!

For this collection, the Ginkgo Fibonacci spiral was inspired by a trip to Japan with my dear Mumma - upon visiting a temple yard in Takayama we had the absolute privilege of meeting a 1200 year old Gingko tree. I was astounded - the tree has seen so much!! Gingko trees are one of the oldest living tree species on earth, known as living fossils and date back to 200 million years ago.

Once a design is ready - which can take months of planning - we hand screenprint each linen teatowel using eco-friendly fabric inks. We print in small batches, so every piece carries the subtle variations that remind you it has been made by hand.

Whether it's spread along your dining table for family gatherings or simply enjoyed as a piece of textile art, we hope it brings a little bit of the landscape into your home.

Made to be used and enjoyed

  • 100% European Black linen

  • Hand screen printed in Cairns, Australia

  • Water-based eco-friendly inks

  • Approx. 150 x 45 cm

  • Machine washable for everyday living

Thank you for supporting Australian-made design and our small creative studio in Cairns.

Customer love

“The contrast is stunning and the fabric feels premium. Highly recommend.”

USE:

Can be used as a Wall hanging or Linen Tablerunner

You can purchase great magnetic hangers online by searching 51cm Poster hanger - as shown in photo.
Photo on table is taken on a rectangular 6 seater timber table that’s 900mm x 2000mm also suits 4, 8 or 10 Seater tables, sideboards & coffee tables.

CARE:
Gentle machine wash, or handwash. I like to to use a washing bag. Gentle machine cycle with similar colours. Max 20 degrees
Once washing has finished - remove wet Linen and immediately hot iron from back first, then front whist wet.
It will flatten your Tablerunner. You don’t need to stand there till it’s dry - just a quick iron over will flatten. Peg or drape for remainder of drying process.
Note: this technique works a treat for any linen items.

*Tablerunner will shrink slightly after first wash, but this will not affect the print.
