Nicola Bryars-Parker is a multidisciplinary Australian artist working across textiles, printmaking, photography, sound, and installation. Raised in tropical Far North Queensland, her practice explores materiality, pattern, memory, and the sensory relationship between place and process.
Working with natural plant dyes, stitching, printmaking, found materials, light, and sound, Nicola creates immersive works that investigate rhythm, resonance, and connection through material.
She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of New South Wales and is co-founder of Just Bee Design. In 2026, Nicola undertook an artist residency at The Boathouse in Ahmedabad, India, which informed her recent exhibition Threads at Tanks Arts Centre. She is currently developing a new body of work for a forthcoming solo exhibition at NorthSite Contemporary Arts.
