Butterflies of Far North Queensland Linen Teatowels

$32.00

Hand screen printed in our Cairns studio

Every design begins with time spent in nature and being in awe!

For this collection, we feature several different butterflies found here in Far North Queensland. A few years ago we were encouraged by family to plant the Aristolochia Tagalia -the host vine for the Cairns Birdwing catterpillars - and have since then we have watched with awe and wonder watched the life cycle of this stunning butterfly. Something you can never tire of!

Once a design is ready - which can take months of planning - we hand screenprint each linen teatowel using eco-friendly fabric inks. We print in small batches, so every piece carries the subtle variations that remind you it has been made by hand.

Choose from two linen colours, each giving the artwork its own character.

White Linen
Fresh and bright, printed in Black ink and lovely red love heart and logo details.

Natural Flax Linen
Warm, earthy linen printed in Black ink and lovely red love heart and logo details.

Whether it's hanging in the kitchen, wrapped around a loaf of homemade bread, or displayed as textile art, we hope it brings a little reminder of the diversity in the tropical rainforests into your everyday.

Made to be used and enjoyed

  • 100% European linen

  • Hand screen printed in Cairns, Australia

  • Water-based eco-friendly inks

  • Approx. 50 x 70 cm

  • Machine washable and made to be enjoyed every day

From our studio

We don't mass produce our textiles.

Each design begins as original artwork before being transformed into hand printed textiles in our Cairns studio. We print in small batches because we believe beautiful things take time.

When a print run sells out, it may be some time before we print it again.
